The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Mongolian Heritage Center was convened on January 18, 2026. In accordance with the provisions of the Center’s bylaws, the Board resolved to release several members from their positions and to appoint new members. Accordingly, Mr. G. Altanbagana, Mr. G. Gan-Erdene, Mr. E. Munkhtsas (Martin), and Mrs. D. Tumendelger were appointed to the Board. As a result, the Board of Directors will henceforth operate with a total membership of eleven directors.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed, discussed, and approved amendments to the bylaws of the Mongolian Heritage Center. The Board also reviewed the Center’s 2025 annual activity report and financial status, and received presentations regarding future actions, the Center’s strategic objectives for 2026, and matters related to the utilization of the Center’s facilities.
In order to ensure effective oversight of the Center’s financial condition and to monitor whether its activities remain aligned with its mission and core objectives, the Board resolved to establish an independent Supervisory Board.
In 2025, the Mongolian Heritage Center organized a total of 79 events at its own premises within its core areas of activity, attracting 3,442 participants. Furthermore, more than 10,000 individuals, counted cumulatively, participated in the Center’s regularly conducted programs and activities, including the “Mongolian Medleg” School, chess, morin khuur, yoochin, piano, traditional dance, traditional wrestling, traditional ankle-bone shooting, Seniors’ Day, and various educational programs and cultural events.
