ILLINOIS STATE GRANT FUNDS HAVE BEEN RELEASED TO THE MONGOLIAN HERITAGE CENTER

With profound gratitude, the Mongolian Heritage Center is sharing the news that Illinois state grant funds of $250,000 have been released to our non-for-profit organization through the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.

Strictly abiding by the Grant Agreement signed with the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the Mongolian Heritage Center will use the grant funds solely for the payment of the property purchase.

On behalf of the Mongolian community in Illinois, the Mongolian Heritage Center expresses its deepest gratitude to the legislature and government of the State of Illinois for generously supporting the Mongolian community’s efforts to establish the first community center with purpose of preserving and passing on the knowledge of Mongolian language, culture and traditions to future generations and of promoting the understanding of Mongolian heritage among foreign friends.
