REPRESENTATIVES FROM THE NATIONAL CAPACD VISITED THE MONGOLIAN HERITAGE CENTER

On June 10th, representatives from the National CAPACD, which serves communities from Asian, Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander backgrounds, visited the Mongolian Heritage Center.

At the beginning of the event, T. Battsetseg, Consul and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Mongolian Heritage Center, expressed her gratitude to the National CAPACD representatives for their special visit and introduced them to the Mongolian community in the Chicago area. The center’s manager, Ch. Selenge, provided an overview of the center’s activities.

Mongolian artists living in the Chicago area showcased their talents, including performances of long song, morin khuur (horsehead fiddle), throat singing, Mongolian dance, and fashion shows, which were enthusiastically received by the guests.

Additionally, the National CAPACD representatives visited the “Mongolian Designers Store” located at the Mongolian Heritage Center and purchased various products made in Mongolia.
