On January 22, 2024, Mongolian Consul in Chicago, Illinois USA T. Battsetseg held a meeting with Patrick Ludvigsen, the Mayor of Prospect Heights, Illinois, along with other city officials. The Consul provided an overview of the Mongolian community in the vicinity of Chicago and conveyed information about the Mongolian Heritage Center’s effort to acquire property within the city to sustain its activities. Assistance was sought for securing the necessary permissions.
The Prospect Heights city officials expressed their enthusiasm about the initiative to open a center dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the largest Mongolian community in the United States. They declared their readiness to offer support and to work actively in partnership on this venture.
